Combat Heroes Snake Eyes and Timber Review

I finally got Snake Eyes and Timber in the mail, so it only right that I review the set.
The new Combat Heroes line is nicely done. I like them just for the fact that they look goofy and bring a more humorous side to the G.I.Joe story.
As you can see I salvaged some of the packaging. This part makes a great display stand!

Snake Eyes is fairly nice the colors are much better than the colors that will come with the regular Snake Eyes in the 2-pack with Zartan and puppy Timber. Also the sword is different, looking more like a pirate's sword, than a ninja sword.
As for Timber. Very nice mold. His only point of articulation is at his neck. My mom says he looks like a cat.
Does he look like this to you!!!!
Here is a chart that shows Snakey's points of articulation.

He and Timber both have peg holes on their feet for attaching to some sort of stand. they can connect on to 25th stands.

Lego Agents Review: Mission 2 Swamp Raid

It has been awhile since I did review (1 year), so bear with me, okay?
Here is a pic of the mini-figs, Driver Agent Charge and and Break Jaw. Both are nice mini-figs, but both have one thing I don't like. Charge's flaw is the big, bushy eyebrows. While several Lego Fans like them, this one doesn't. As for Break Jaw, his helmet is kinda loose.
Break Jaw without helmet. While Charge's eyebrows take away from the figure, Break Jaw's uni brow doesn't. It gives him a more evil appearance.
The guns are nice pieces. It's about the packaging showed the characters using them. The holes are apparently so the guns will attach to the figures, probably with a special leg mold that wasn't put out.

Break Jaw's robotic crocs are okay. Not much to say, other than I don't play with 'em that much.
Break Jaw's boat is too small and weird looking. Nuff said.
Charge's motorcycle is nice, but rather large. But if Lego had made it smaller, it probably wouldn't be as good looking. All together, it is a nice piece. (or pieces.)

Break Jaw's swamp outpost is a LOT larger that you think. If you can afford the volcano base, this won't be any add-on to your collection, but for little kids who can buy this with their savings then they can use this as Inferno's home base.

Overall rating, 3 out of 5 stars.
Here's a quick dio I made.

Hope you liked the review. This and other Lego Agents sets can purchased here. I'll review mission 6 next week.

G.I.Joe movie info, B. Fraser in USA Today, S6T internet exclusive!

I didn't see this on any other sites, so that makes this an internet exclusive.

I was on vacation on Thursday, and someday left a USA Today magazine by everyone's door to their rooms. Anyhoo I picked it up when I saw an interview with Brenden Fraser. At the end there was a little piece on G.I.Joe. Here the actual piece of that interview.

Q: And, of course, I have to ask you about G.I.Joe.

A: That's a cameo, a full-on cameo. That was me begging Bob Ducsay, who produced the first two Mummys, and we were in Shanghai one night. Bob had a big grin on his face and told me Paramount had given him the green light for G.I.Joe. "Can I be in your movie, please? I'll do anything! I'll play a crazy drill sergeant." And I can't believe it-They called me! I am Rick O' Connell's great-great-grandson. He gets to decide who does or doesn't get to be in the Joes. and that's it. I had a Joe. My Joe was twisting in the wind, hanging from his parachute. (End of interview.)

One note before I leave, big sites like Hisstank report Fraser will probably be Rock n' Roll, due to the fact that in other interview he said that he'll drive a 3-wheeled motorcycle (Rock n' Roll did that on the early comic books.) and that Fraser's character's last name was O' Connell. I beg your pardon, but Rock n' Roll's last name is McConnell. I still think he'll be Rock n' Roll, but he might not. I've been looking for another Joe character with the last name "O'Connell."

Gotta go.

Why the Joes don't have fireworks this year.

Thought this would be an easy way to show off my new Lockdown. I had to pay $20 to get him.

And you thought I'd be complaining about firework costs.

New dio series.

Soon I plan to have a 8" dio series on S6T this summer. I'm not sure what direction I'll go, but this project might not get off the ground. I can't give any other info. We'll see...

Hasbro's Response to my letter

Before ya read this, ya might wanna take a look at this.
O.K. Here's the response to my letter.
Hi Duke94 (I replaced my name),Thank you for your interest in Hasbro, Inc. We appreciate your interest in our GI Joes. Since many revisions may occur prior to a product release, information, such as release dates, possible new items and where to buy future products, is not available in advance for distribution. We ask that you visit our web site at http://www.hasbro.com often for the most current product information. Also, if you are seeing figures from 2006 in stores, that are no longer manufactured, this does not mean we are reissuing them. This is old inventory the stores have remaining. We appreciate your understanding and your interest.
I wonder about the Stone deal. It doesn't seem likely that it's old stock, since they've been appearing at various retailers. I dunno, I dunno.
Anyhoo, Yo Joe and Duke94 out.

my letter to Hasbro

Here' s a letter to Hasbro about the 8" line.
Dear Hasbro, I have a few questions about the G.I.Joe 8" line. 1. Is it possible to release 8" joes in a line similar to "Marvel Unleashed". It could include Duke, Snake Eyes, Flint, and other favorites in their 80's suits. 2. Can we have 8" toys for the new '09 movie? 3. If we can't have 8" toys until the rumored animated series comes out in '09-'10, can we at least have 8" Action Man toys? 4. There are reports of Wave 5 of Sigma 6(Which came out late '06) reappearing at various retailers across the U.S.A. In fact, I bought my 3rd Lt. Stone yesterday at Toys R' Us. Can you explain these previously rare figures are showing up again? Thanks "Duke94" of Sigma 6 Telebase. http://sigma6telebase.blogspot.com/
I'll let ya know what they say. And yes, I bought a Lt. Stone.
Adios!
